Festival terms & conditions

 When you book a stall site, these terms & conditions apply:
General terms
  • Application does not guarantee your preferred site.
  • Stall sites are allocated only to applications that have PAID for the booking.
  • Generators on site must not exceed 60dB. Noisy generators will not be allowed on site.
  • WCC require all stallholders meet prescribed safe food handling requirements. Note this may mean WCC inspectors asking paid and approved stallholders to leave the event if they are unable to meet the safety requirements on the day.
  • Stallholder vehicles need to be removed from the site. If a vehicle is part of your stall set up you must book enough space for it to fit. You may need to order multiple sites, and do remember to allow for towbar length.

Refunds & cancellations

  • The Newtown Festival Street Fair happens rain or shine, there are no refunds for windy or inclement weather.
  • Up till Feb 10 paid Stall Bookings that cancel are refunded less a $25 charge for administration.
  • After Feb 10 any refunds to stalls that cancel are made only in special circumstances.

Site access, setup and packdown

  • On Fair Day stall set up is from 6.30am, and all vehicles must be off site by 9am.
  • Site entry for vehicles is at Constable Street.
  • All vehicles moving within the Fair must move slowly, follow the correct one way flow,  and follow the site marshal’s instructions at all times.
  • Stallholder vehicles need to be removed from the site. If a vehicle is part of your stall set up you must book enough space for it to fit. You may need to order multiple sites, and do remember to allow for towbar length.
  • Pack down is after 4.30pm, usually around 5pm, as soon as crowd numbers on site safely allow. Offsite carparking is available for stallholders.
